Next in our 40th anniversary series of blog posts, we’re going to meet Javier Moreno, who has been a student here since 2005, 16 whole years learning with us. He has taken a variety of courses that we offer from our Extensive course to some Professional Courses. Despite his busy life working as an economist in the finance department of a company, he has also found the time on his very busy hands to go to our IH club social events and join in on our student nights at Christmas times, and even the end of the academic year parties.
Javier starts the interview by congratulating the company and all the staff members that work here and hope that we continue for more years to come.
When he first started, he admits to having a very basic level which he has now improved upon by being in C1 Advanced. Exams aren’t his priority – he wants to keep improving his speaking and the listening aspects of the language.
The things that he most likes about International House are the locations of the schools (all quite central), all the teachers that he has met during his time here, the methodology used and the people that he has met along the way, especially the friendships that he has made.
