The first interview in our blog to celebrate IH’s 40th anniversary is with Christina Anastasiadis, academic director for adult students.
Christina has been at International House for 25 years, and during this period she’s seen the classroom technology change a lot! Our buildings have also evolved a lot over the years, and she’s especially enjoyed seeing the growth of the young learners learning a new language over this period.
Christina loves the variety of her job from teaching young learners, adults to the teachers wanting to expand their knowledge of teaching. She also points out that the most important thing is the team, the creativeness of the staff.
One of her most striking memories is the IH Carnival parties, with the extravagant costumes! Emotions running high, Christina says that she wants the quality not to change and to continue adapting to the new climate.
